Say it ain’t so! “American Idol” alum Jordin Sparks and her pop singer boy toy, Jason Derulo, have split.
The music duo, who first confirmed their relationship in 2012 and were first linked romantically as far back as 2011, have called it quits after sparking engagement rumors just last year when the “Talk Dirty” recording artist proposed to Sparks in the music video for “Marry Me,” which was inspired by their real-life romance.
According to multiple sources, their break up was mutual but Sparks, 24 and Derulo, 25, still care for each other deeply and will remain friends.
