DMX may be called a lot of things, but his last actions may prompt you to think of him in a better light.

According to The Jasmine Brand, the Ruff Ryder was on the verge of losing his New York residence [where his ex-wife Tashera currently resides] by way of a foreclosure auction, but in the final hour forked over $250,000, placing him back in the green.

Last year, the 43-year-old recording artist was hit with a lawsuit from Compass Bank in a New York Court where he and his wife at the time, Tashera Simmons, had taken out a $500,000 mortgage. But after inking the deal in 2004, the couple soon defaulted on the loan.

In May 2014, Compass Bank claimed that DMX was 1403 days in default and were demanding full pay for a total of $258,927.87.
