Leona Barr-Davenport, president and CEO of the Atlanta Business League welcomed everyone to the 81st Annual Meeting Dinner held the Hyatt Regency Atlanta yesterday. The 2014 ABL business Hall of Fame Inductees were Yergan Jones, president of A.E.E Productions Inc.,who has been in the sound and lighting business for 30 years; Zebedee Linder, president of Standard Landscape Inc., a business owner for 27 years and most of his family still works with him; and the family of the late Willie D. Lemon, W.D. Lemon & Sons Funeral Home Inc., which has been in business for 55 years.
A panel discussion on Looking Ahead at Business Opportunities moderated by Thomas W. Dortch Jr., chairman & CEO, TWD Inc., included Torre Jessup, regional administrator, U.S. General Services Administration, Dana Lemon, board bember , Georgia DOT, Keith Parker, general manager, MARTA and Miguel Southwell, GM, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
