It’s no secret that the justice system is very flawed. There have been plenty of examples floating around the Internet for quite some time, but it wasn’t until White Twitter followers exposed the truths behind their pleasant interactions with the police under the hashtag #crimingwhilewhite that things were really put in perspective. It’s hard to believe some of the things white people get away with.
In the wake of the disappointing grand jury decisions to not indict the officers who killed Eric Garner and Mike Brown, is it really necessary for the White community to brag about their judicial wins, or does it just stoke more anger in the Black community?
