Producer and “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Mally Mall recently sent social media into a tailspin when he not so subtly hinted that Nick Cannon had some choice words for his soon to be ex-wife Mariah Carey on his upcoming album.
“He’s talking about Mariah on the record,” Mall told TMZ. “There’s going to be a lot of controversy.”
Once Cannon caught wind of the rumors, he quickly hopped on Twitter to put all speculation to rest:
Word on the street is that Cannon probably wouldn’t bad-mouth Mariah publicly even if he wanted to because there is a strict gag order in place that could cost him millions if he violates it.
Married since 2008, the pair were one of the most revered power couples in show business until shockingly announcing their separation and pending divorce last August. It is speculated that the biggest rift and ultimate deal breaker in their union was Carey’s desire for Cannon to be home more, which didn’t work well with his excessive need to work when “they don’t need the money.”
The couple has a set of fraternal twins, Monroe and Moroccan Cannon, affectionately known as “Dem Babies.”
