3. Deborah Cox, not Yaya DaCosta, will be singing Whitney Houston’s biggest hits.
Early on, it was reported that one of Houston’s old label mates, Cox, would be recording the late singer’s songs, while DaCosta would take the stage.
“I actually asked for it to be played out loud so even the audience we had, all the extras we had, could hear Deborah Cox singing Whitney songs and me singing at the same time,” DaCosta said.
