The Oxygen channel has released their plans to premiere the highly anticipated “Preachers of Detroit” series.

Last week, Oxygen announced that it will air two hour-long specials to tie in with new series that will give a firsthand look at the lives of some of the Motor City’s most popular preachers.

First up will be a special centering around Detroit native and “Preachers of L.A.” star Deitrick Haddon that will feature him returning home to Detroit in attempts to heal some old family wounds. The special, titled “Preachers of L.A.: Deitrick Goes Home,” will air on Friday, Feb. 6.

The following week a second special, “Preachers of Detroit: Meet the Preachers,” will serve to introduce viewers to cast members Bishop Charles Ellis III, Bishop Corletta Vaughn, Pastor Tim Alden, Pastor David Bullock, Bishop-elect Clarence Langston, Pastor Don William Shelby Jr. and Evangelist Dorinda Clark-Cole.

In addition to featuring the newest cast members, the special will also give viewers a first look at a new song and video Haddon hopes to put together for the people of Detroit.

“Preachers of Detroit” will debut Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. EST.
