The Young Belle Project and The B Firm PR hosted the “Be-You Empowerment Brunch” on Jan. 25, 2015, at Paschal’s Restaurant in Atlanta. Organizers aimed to expose young ladies, ages 9 to 19, to the accomplishments of female entrepreneurs and provide a platform for the young ladies to converse with these role models.
Attendees had an opportunity to meet visionaries from a host of industries, including singer-songwriter Tami Latrell, fashion designer Jerrika Karlae, CupCake Mafia CEO Mary “Mz. Skittlez” Seats, professional makeup artist Alexandra Butler, and ATL Beauty Bar owner Samantha Moxey.
The Young Belle Project is unlike any other mentoring program. The organization prides itself in its mission — Building an Extraordinary, Liberated and Luminous Essence in Young Women — and strives to assist loved ones in providing the essentials to succeed in life. By promoting confidence, education, and the development of young minds, this organization teaches young girls to find out who they are and reminds them that they are not alone in this journey.
Event sponsors went above and beyond to create a fun and inspiring event. Goodie bags were filled with great products and served as a lasting reminder for the girls that a purpose and a dream take you far.
