A capacity crowd arrived early at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills, California, to attend Bryan-Michael Cox and SESAC’s coveted pre-Grammy Brunch. Notable entertainers such as Jermaine Dupri, Mannie Fresh, Chrisette Michele and Sean Garrett mingled at the event, which took place hours prior to the Grammy Awards.

For 11 consecutive years, Bryan-Michael Cox and SESAC’s brunch has become a staple of Grammy Awards weekend as top musicians, producers, and songwriters are honored.

This year’s event was sponsored by rolling out magazine, Planned Parenthood, and Revolt TV and honorees included T.I., Dame Dash and Jason Geter. Each honoree represented the essence of what it takes to be successful in music.

Prior to the kick off to the ceremony, which was hosted by Cox, T.I. shared his thoughts on being honored.

“I think that it’s a wonderful time right now because we’re beginning to be known as much for business as for our entertainment,” T.I. said. “I think that that’s something that I’m dedicating a lot of my time, effort, energy, and attention to for this year and next year. Just to try to segue myself into business. Then to have a business partner like Jason, who’s been so loyal and dedicated all the time, to see him get his moment in the sun and be acknowledged for all his efforts, I think that is all so great. When you have a collection of guys and ladies with like minds and who are all determined to reach a common goal as one, you have the most potential for success. One person can accomplish so much. But if you get a group of people working at the same thing, you can move mountains.”
