Nick Gordon has been under a microscope from both fans and the police for weeks ever since he became a suspect in a criminal investigation regarding Bobbi Kristina’s bathtub tragedy. During that time, reports have claimed that Gordon hasn’t been allowed to see Bobbi, and some of her family members have publicly bashed him as a bad boyfriend. But now Gordon is speaking out and claiming that he “desperately” wants to see Bobbi again.
“Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively,” Gordon’s lawyer wrote. “He has respected the family’s wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted.”
Gordon’s statement comes in direct opposition to accusations from Houston family members who claimed that Gordon has never tried to visit Bobbi in the hospital and that he only feigns concern for the cameras. However, other reports have claimed that the Houston family kept security in place to keep Gordon from seeing his longtime girlfriend.
Gordon’s lawyer previously spoke in his defense and claimed that Gordon “remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon.”
It’s easy to believe that Gordon is consumed with seeing Bobbi, especially since he recently revealed a “Bobbi Kristina” tattoo inked on his arm.
We’re inclined to believe that Gordon really does want to see Bobbi, but considering how much alleged opposition he’s facing from her family, we’re not sure that he’ll be seeing her anytime soon.
