‘America’s Next Top Model’ contestant Mirjana Puhar found dead

In a shocking turn of events, it was revealed yesterday that 19-year-old “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Mirjana Puhar was one of the victims in a triple homicide at her boyfriend’s home on Tuesday.

According to TMZ, sources close to Puhar say that the murder happened at the Charlotte, North Carolina, home of Puhar’s 23-year-old boyfriend, Jonathan Alvarado, and that the three bodies were discovered by a friend of the couple who visited the home after getting a call about hearing gunshots at Alvarado’s place.

The friend reportedly entered the home and found the bodies of Puhar and Alavarado, as well as money scattered across the home, and immediately called 911. However, the friend didn’t initially see the body of the third victim, 21-year-old Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia, who was reportedly Alvarado’s best friend.

Nineteen-year-old Emmanuel Jesus Rangel was arrested for the killings and charged with three counts of first-degree murder. Although the case is still open, so far police believe that the killings were drug related.

Puhar had only been romantically involved with her boyfriend for a few months, and she had only recently moved in with the two men before her death.

Our sincere condolences go out to Puhar’s family, as well as her “ANTM” family.

Check out responses from Tyra Banks and Puhar’s cast mates after the cut.
