“Dancing With the Stars” fans can rejoice. Earlier this week, the season 20 star-studded celebrity cast was revealed on “Good Morning America.” Actress Suzanne Somers, music icon Patti LaBelle, football star Michael Sam and Olympian Nastia Liukin are among the stars gettng ready to rhumba and samba on the dance floor.
While fans have expressed that this year’s show is low on star power, producers of the hit dance competition show are calling season 20 one of the biggest yet. As previously reported, ABC will bring back some of the themes viewers look forward to seeing, including Disney Night, Latin Night, and a new theme, Spring Break Night. Another new element, is the addition of all-access cameras in the rehearsal studios, which will allow viewers to get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the cast via a live stream. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews are back to host; Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Julianne Hough will reprise their roles as judges.
Last year, “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” star Alfonso Ribeiro won season 19. He dropped by “Good Morning America” Tuesday morning to show off a new trophy and issue advice to this season’s contestants.
