Cookie Lyon vs. Cookie Monster: As expected, “SNL” played around with Henson’s super-popular TV character, Cookie Lyon, when she made a surprise visit to Sesame Street. Unfortunately for Elmo and the crew, they had no idea what had hit them. “He’s trying to play you,” she warned as Bert and Ernie attempted to trade snacks. She also snatched a treat away from the similarly named Cookie Monster. “You need to stop rappin’ like you from the streets, ’cause you not about that life!” she told Mr. Snuffleupagus which was well, pretty genius. As for Elmo, he was apparently recycled into a beautiful red fur coat.
