If you’ve been following the story of Bruce Jenner’s sex reassignment transition, you know it hasn’t been a cake walk for his daughter’s Kylie, Kendall and specifically Khloe Kardashian, who seems most angered by the situation.
While we’ve heard from just about everyone in the Kardashian crew, the former Olympian’s son has been pretty hush, hush about his father’s bold announcement. That is until now. During a recent interview with Extra, the reality star says he still loves his father “to death.”
“It’s been a journey for all of us, but we’re very supportive and I love him to death, and it’s great to see how happy he is now,” he said.
When asked whether he thought his father was an even bigger hero now than he was as an Olympic gold medalist, Brody responded, “One-hundred percent, absolutely. I think [his speaking out is] going to change a lot of lives, and hopefully save a lot of lives.”
Jenner also set the record straight on rumors that there’s a divide between the Jenners and the Kardashians: “Absolutely not, absolutely not. I love my sisters. They’re incredible people and we get along just great.”
He also insisted there is no bad blood between him, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, even though he didn’t attend their wedding. “To be honest, I never really hang out with them. I love Kim to death, but I never see them. They’re very busy, as am I. We don’t really hang out that much,” he said. “I didn’t go to their wedding. I heard it was great. I wish I would have gone; it just didn’t work out… I had some work stuff I had to do… It’s so funny: I always read these things like that–that Kim and I are just beefing all the time–it’s such BS.”
