The July 2015 issue of Vanity Fair hit the Internet today and guess who is on the cover? Not, not the Bruce Jenner who appeared on the mid-season finale episode on Sunday, May 31, of E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Less than 24 hours ago, viewers took their last look at Bruce Jenner, 65, in living color. Well, Bruce is dead and emerging from the shadows is Caitlyn Jenner, she has no past but she definitely has a lucrative future ahead of her. Annie Leibovitz goes down in history as the lucky photographer to capture, the first photo of Caitlyn Jenner in a corseted body suit, with brunette hair and cascading curls.

Vanity Fair writes: Pulitzer Prize–winning contributing editor and author of Friday Night Lights Buzz Bissinger, who was given unfettered access to Jenner and her family, chronicles the tensions, traumas, and courage that shaped Caitlyn into the woman you see today. Annie Leibovitz shoots the first portraits of Caitlyn, which were taken in her Malibu home.
