For several years now, the Smith’s have wrestled with rumors of an alleged open marriage. While Pinkett Smith has talked around the rumors on several occasions, she recently stopped by the Howard Stern show on Sirius XM radio, where she set the record straight … sort of.

When asked about a statement she made several years back, on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” where she stated that if Will wanted to go out with another woman then he could go ahead, “as long as he could look at himself in the mirror,” the former “Gotham” star took it upon herself to clarify further:

“Look I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher. I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man. Here’s what I trust — the man that Will is, is a man of integrity. So he’s got all the freedom in the world. So as long as Will can look at himself in the mirror and be OK? I’m good.”

In other words, if her movie star husband is going to cheat, she’s not going to spend her time playing inspector gadget. Instead, she trusts her husband of 18 years and should he slip up, he’d have to live with the consequences.

The Smiths were married in 1997. They have three children, Willow, 14, Jaden, 16, and Trey, 22, Will’s son from a previous marriage.

she still not admitting to anything, she is saying she is not going to spend her time worrying about who or what he is doing it to. Saying she is secure in her marriage. What she is saying can be interpreted a few ways.

Who cares and this is the way most married people should think. Just becasue you sign a piece of paper and spend a gang of loot in a ceremony does not make you anyone’s property. Try to keep tabs all you want, but grown people will find a way to do what they want to do.

that is why i dont believe in marriage its stupid , people are human , if a man dont want to sleep with other women he want ,, but others find them selves in awkward situations , and men are weak period . . i dont trust men in the first place women who do usually do out of tradition .. MARRIAGE .. is a union of trust , not committment . no one stays committed to providing no one with a safety net .. . if someone wants to sex out side of a union .. unless its a christan union you can forget it ……. EVEN PREACHER CHEAT ON THEIR WIVES .. . not RIGHT BY GODS WORD BUT HOW MANY WEDDINGS HAVEING ANYTHING TO DO WITH CHRISTIANITY SOME WEDDINGS ARE HELD NOT IN CHURCH EVEN SOME PEOPLE JUST MARRY AT THE COURT HOUSE . …
