Congrats are in order for on-and-off again couple Draya Michele and Orlando Scandrick, whom according to Michele’s social media, are heading down the aisle.
“Yesterday, the love of my life asked me to be his wife…… I said YES !!! Love you @oscandrick32 forever starts now” she captioned the below photo, flaunting her cushion-cut diamond weighing in at a little over 6 carats, designed by Jasons of Beverly Hills.
The “Basketball Wives LA” star shared that the Dallas Cowboys cornerback popped the question Thursday evening over drinks at Arclight Cinemas in Sherman Oaks. And apparently, he was pretty nervous.
“He told me to dress casual and we ended up going to where we had our first date,” Michele told People, who first broke the news. “He was acting so weird and so nervous. When he walked up to the bar he tripped and fell over some chairs! I was thinking, ‘What in the world is wrong with him?'”
Fans of the show may recall that the reality duo has had their fair share of ups and downs. In fact, the surprise engagement comes on the heels of the couple taking a break… a time that apparently made them realize they’re meant to be together.
“I knew I was going to say yes to him whether he asked me now or four months ago. He’s the first man to make me want to be different and be mature,” Michele said.
As for the wedding planning, Michele told People she’s in “no rush” and is “going to soak this time in and have fun!”
