Drake has his figurative foot in Meek Mill’s neck and it doesn’t look like he’s letting up anytime soon.
Over the weekend at the 6th annual OVO Fest, Drizzy showed up to soundcheck wearing the “Free Meek Mill” t-shirt he originally sported last year in support of his former friend during his brief jail bid for probation violation. Immediately after the picture hit social media, speculation ran rampant of what else “The 6 God” had up his sleeve for the evening.
After a slew of performances and appearances from the likes of J. Cole, Big Sean, Jeremih, Kanye West, and even Will Smith, Drizzy took the stage and gave a performance that many are calling the final nail in the coffin of Mill’s career.
With some of the most popular memes about the ongoing feud showing on a big screen behind him, Drake opened his set by performing both diss tracks aimed at the Philadelphia rapper, “Charged Up” and “Back to Back,” live for the first time ever, much to the delight of the crowd.
Another highlight of the night came when Drake did a freestyle that gave the impression that a third diss is on the way when he rapped:
Dealing with these n—–as man it take a lot
Been saying f–k a chaser when we taking shots
Look man, I said you don’t want that 3 peat
Got you acting like a b—h cause you ain’t get the retweet
It looks like this battle is going to get worse before it gets any better. As always, we’ll keep you posted as this story develops.
