When Caitlyn Jenner first came out as a transgender woman, she explained to the world that her transition hadn’t been the easiest thing for her kids to swallow, especially not Khloe Kardashian, whom Jenner claimed was most affected amongst the kids. Although the two are in a better place now, things weren’t so peaceful between the two during filming of “I Am Cait” and fans are now going to see that tension in an upcoming episode when Kardashian confronts her parent about her feud with Kris Jenner.
In the preview clip of this Sunday’s episode, Kardashian sits down with Jenner to discuss some “tough texts” she sent to her parent regarding some negative comments Jenner publicly made about Kris and their marriage.
“We haven’t really gotten a chance to talk since you sent me all those tough texts,” Jenner says to Kardashian.
Clearly defensive and on edge, Kardashian replied, “Kim [Kardashian] said that you said they were tough and Kim read all of them and she was like ‘these really weren’t that tough.’ I just said, ‘We don’t care what you’re doing.’ Meaning, we don’t care if you want to transition. We want to support you and be there for you.”
“But, we don’t think that that entails you speaking negatively about my mom. In our opinion, you don’t even need to mention our mom … let’s not drag my mom through the mud,” Kardashian added.
Kardashian then criticized Jenner’s character and explained that she should be more sensitive to her family’s feelings.
“I would think you would come from a place of more compassion, especially when you have two young daughters who are greatly affected by it,” she says. “And then when you try to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about … ”
Jenner then interrupted Kardashian, saying, “Because you don’t know.”
Clearly, this was a heated conversation and we can understand both sides. It’s no surprise that Kardashian would stick up for her mom and voice her opinion when she feels the family has been wronged. On the other hand, no child knows the full details of what happens in their parents’ marriage and we doubt that Kardashian is an exception.
