Y.G. sheds light on the West Coast’s resurgence during performance in Atlanta

Y.G. brought the West Coast element to the Forest Hills Drive tour as it made its way to Atlanta. With much of the nation fixated on the opening weekend of Straight Outta Compton, West Coast rap has officially made a resurgence.

Y.G. stands as one of the top new artists to emerge out of Compton, or as he likes to call it, “Bompton.”

He performed several hits from his underrated album My Crazy Life. Stand outs included “Left, Right”, “I Just Wanna Party,” and “Twist My Fingaz.”

Y.G. took a moment to bring out Atlanta-based artists Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan during his performance of the hit “My N—.”
