Tracy Morgan’s life turned tragic in the blink of an eye last year when he was involved in a near-death car accident. But now it seems his life is finally looking up because he recently wed his longtime fiancée this weekend.
According to People, Morgan married his longtime girlfriend, Megan Wollover, in an emotional ceremony on Sunday night.
“After almost losing Tracy last year, I am so grateful to finally be married to the love of my life,” Wollover said in an interview with People. “We have been through so much and our love is stronger for it.”
Back in June, Morgan told the magazine that he was intent on walking his wife down the aisle when they finally got married.
“I don’t want to walk my wife down the aisle with a cane or in a wheelchair,” he said. ‘So I had to go hard with the therapy … I had to get better. There was no ifs, ands or buts about it.”
And as promised, Morgan, with his 2-year-old daughter, Maven, watching, walked his bride down the aisle without even the assistance of a cane.
For Wollover, having Morgan alive and well and now as her husband is more than enough for her to be overjoyed.
“I’m so excited to see what our future holds and feel so blessed to spend the rest of my life with Tracy!” Wollover said.
