Trick Daddy may “love the kids,” but currently he isn’t in a position to take care of them.
According to TMZ, the 43-year-old rapper, born Maurice Young, recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, claiming to have a grand debt of approximately $645,000 but only $430,000 in assets including about $550 in clothing and jewelry.
Even though he reportedly still earns almost $15,000 per month from shows and song royalties, the Miami emcee says he’s amassed $290,000 in back taxes, a mortgage that he owes $280,000 on, and he owes $34,387 in child support to one of his kid’s mothers, and $22,282 in child support to another.
Trick Daddy hasn’t released an album since 2009’s Finally Famous: Born a Thug, Still a Thug.
