It was just a year ago that former “Love & Hip Hop NY” star Tahiry Jose was shockingly attacked by a man named Carlos Fiasco during a fashion show at New York Fashion Week. Since then, news of the drama has long died down. But now Jose’s assault drama is back in the headlines as it’s been revealed that she’s suing Fiasco for the attack.

As previously reported, Jose was backstage at the Angola International Fashion Show, where she was supposed to work as a model, when she got into a verbal altercation with a man named Charles Suggs, also known as Carlos Fiasco, who was working the door at the event. The argument then led to Suggs brutally attacking Jose, who suffered injuries because of the attack.

However, months later, Suggs got off easy in court when he pleaded guilty to assault and agreed to a plea deal that resulted in him avoiding jail time. Suggs will only have to complete an anger management program and abide by a restraining order that keeps him away from Tahiry for the next five years.

But now, according to the New York Daily News, Jose is fighting back, once again, and she’s suing Suggs, alleging she “still suffers great physical and mental pain” from the attack, which has resulted in her having to take time off from her work.

Jose’s lawyer, Samuel Davis, says, “She had injuries to her spine, herniated discs, damage to her jaw — she was pretty badly banged up,”

Jose is reportedly not only suing Suggs, but she’s also suing the show organizers as well for an unspecified amount.

We’ll keep you updated on how this turns out. Hopefully, justice will be served.
