The iconic Beverly Johnson is releasing her memoir The Face That Changed It All and to celebrate, the legendary supermodel was honored at the Museum of the City of New York with a lavish gala. Johnson’s status as a pioneer for women of color in modeling in unquestionable, and on a warm September night in Manhattan, luminaries such as Freddie Jackson, Clive Davis, Gloria Allred, Valerie Simpson and others turned out to make sure the beauty was celebrated in grand fashion.
