Only “Extra’s” Tracey Edmonds was with tennis superstar turned fashion designer Serena Williams as she unveiled her Williams Signature Collection for HSN. Serena sharing her excitement about the collection backstage, telling Tracey all about the inspiration behind the 23 looks she presented while Vogue editrix Anna Wintour sat front row, and next to Serena rumored love interest, rapper Drake. The tennis icon saying she and her team felt like they needed to step it up a notch this year, “We were really influenced by neutral, our neutral palette, neutral colors and also a little bit of fringe, we wanted to tell this whole story of fringe. Fringe is sexy. Fringe is classy. And, fringe is fun; it’s modern and current.”


Serena also shared her clothes are made to fit the different sizes of modern women, including her own curves, “My collection fits me and you know, I’m not a stick. It doesn’t matter what size you are. We want to send that message that you are beautiful. You are powerful. You are strong. And, you can look amazing and love who you are.”

Debuting some accessories as well she adds, “We have hats, we have glasses, we went all out this year.”


And describing her own personal style, “I love mixing classic pieces with trendy pieces.”
