Vanessa Williams gives us a glimpse of her magical wedding day.

As previously reported, the former beauty queen and her fiancé Jim Skrip got hitched on the 4th of July. “Road trip for the holiday weekend,” the new bride tweeted just two days prior to tying the knot. “Happy 4th.”

News of the couple’s engagement first broke last fall when the “Ugly Betty” alum flaunted her gargantuan new sparkler on the since canceled “Queen Latifah Show.”

“I got engaged. I have had a lot of good things happen while I’ve been on this lovely trip,” she revealed to Queen Latifah. “I turned 50 when we were in rehearsal on Broadway, I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago. … [There have] been a lot of blessings on this trip.”

Williams, 52, and the former accountant first met in 2013 in Egypt. “You go across the world to find somebody who’s six hours away,” the Broadway star told Philly.com in February 2014.

This was the third marriage for Williams. But as you can see in the video clip above, she is every bit in love. Can we also take a minute to admire the beauty of her 14K gold invitations? According to the creators, Adorn Wedding Invitations, Williams’ invitations (which took three months to design) were inspired by the Pharaohs of Egypt and the rich colors of Marsala roses.

Fashioned with a personalized logo for Vanessa and Jim, featuring their initials, the invitations were every bit as elegant as their big day. For a closer look, check out the gallery below.
