Khloe Kardashian’s BFF, Malika Haqq, had a nasty run-in with the law. On Thursday, Oct. 8, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence after she crashed her car on an L.A. freeway and spent several hours behind bars, reports TMZ.
The 32-year-old “Dash Dolls” star was booked at Valley Jail in Van Nuys, California, at 4:18 a.m. and was released just before noon on her own recognizance. She has not yet commented.
According to California Highway Patrol, officers received a call around 3 a.m. about a traffic collision involving a black Mercedes blocking lanes on the 101 freeway in North Hollywood. Officers found Haqq at the scene. She sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash and “had objective symptoms of intoxication.”
“After further investigation, it was determined that Ms. Haqq was under the influence of alcohol,” added the CHP in a report. Per reports, Haqq was given a field sobriety test and failed. She is suspected of driving with a blood alcohol concentration of more than 0.08 percent. However, there is no word on pending charges at this time.
