Beleaguered rapper Bobby Shrumda’s latest attempt at freedom has been denied.
The “Hot N—a” rapper, who has been in jail since being arrested on numerous charges last December, was denied bail by a Manhattan judge for the fifth time late last week.
Judge James Buke denied the motion for bail put forth by the 21 -year-old’s new attorney, Alex Spiro, after Special Narcotics Prosecutor Nigel Farinha presented evidence that Shmurda has a number of ties to the state of Florida and financial resources to be considered a flight risk.
Shmurda, whose real name is Ackquille Jean Pollard, and members of his GS9 crew are facing a number of charges, including conspiracy, attempted murder, murder, reckless endangerment and weapons possession.
His trial, which was also scheduled to begin on Oct. 5 has been pushed back to Feb. 22.
