Ever since Khloe Kardashian decided to legally halt her decision to divorce Lamar Odom, fans have understandably been assuming that she and her once estranged husband are back together. However, that apparently isn’t the case because she has now denied any plans to get back with Odom.

As previously reported, Kardashian was happily dating NBA player James Harden before Lamar Odom fell into a coma after a reported drug overdose in a Nevada brothel. Afterwards, Kardashian rushed to Odom’s bedside, reportedly called it quits with Harden, and decided to stop her divorce proceedings.

However, in a new statement to People, Kardashian explains that she made the decision to halt the divorce in order to continue helping Odom with his medical decisions, not get back with him.

“It’s out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that’s not in our thought process right now,” Kardashian says. “There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It’s not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now.”

Indeed, Odom has a lot on his plate right now. Doctors have reportedly told him and his family that he’ll need to undergo several months of rehabilitation to help him recover from his injuries, and there’s a chance he’s suffered permanent damage, as well.

Odom is also facing drug charges after a drug test revealed that he did indeed have cocaine in his system when he was found unconscious in the brothel. However, sources say it’s unlikely that he’ll face any jail time because he’s a first time offender.

But that’s not all that Kardashian had to say about the matter. Read the rest of her statement, after the cut.
