Atlanta has long had a vibrant blues scene, but it became a little brighter with the red carpet premier of the film We are Kings, directed by Toby Hubner. The film shot scenes in Atlanta and Chicago to create the fictional town of Moon, Mississippi, home of a struggling juke joint, The Blues Bucket. Musicians and actors featured in the film include Sammy Blue, Rita Graham, Jonathan “Boogie” Long and Pryce Watkins.
