We don’t know if Rihanna ever got what was owed to her from the poor soul in her “BBHMM” video, but judging by her latest multi-million dollar move, the beauty from Barbados isn’t exactly hurting for cash at the moment.
According to the New York Post, RiRi has signed a deal with Samsung for $25 million that will see the electronics company giving the singer a helping hand with the promotion of her upcoming eighth studio album, Anti, along with her soon to follow world tour in support of the new record.
In return, the 27-year-old singer will help promote some of Samsung’s new products including their brand new Milk Music radio app that will have exclusive rights to premiere some of the singer’s new music and videos.
You may remember Rihanna’s mentor, Jay Z, struck a huge deal of his own with Samsung when the company bought a million copies of his 2013 album Magna Carta…Holy Grail and made it exclusive to Samsung users for four days before its full release.
Thus far, there’s been no word on how this deal with Samsung will affect her status as part owner of Tidal and what if any exclusive content she’ll be able to release on the platform.
Rihanna’s new album, Anti, is set to be released on Nov. 6.
