Khloe Kardashian has been admirably diligent when it comes to sticking by her husband, Lamar Odom, as he recovers in the hospital from his reported drug overdose and strokes. However, Kardashian’s dedication to Odom has reportedly taken a toll on her own health because news is spreading that Kardashian allegedly contracted a staph infection.
Yesterday, Kardashian tweeted that she felt ill and that doctors ordered her to cancel a portion of her Strong Looks Better Naked book tour to tend to her health.
Although she claimed at the time that doctors were unsure of what was causing her ailments, TMZ reports that Kardashian’s sickness is a staph infection that she contracted from visiting Odom.
According to sources, after more than a month of regularly visiting Odom at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, Kardashian developed a lesion on her leg that has become increasingly painful.
Sources say Kardashian also developed symptoms like swollen glands, profuse sweating, a high fever, and intermittent chills.
“It’s so scary. She’s so sick,” the source said about Kardashian’s condition.
Although Kardashian hasn’t confirmed that she has a staph infection, she did reveal on Twitter that she is on antibiotics to treat her illness.
Well, whatever the illness is, we hope Kardashian gets better soon.
