The whole world seems to have advice for Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill on their high-profilfe relationship, whether it be for Minaj to silence Mill, for the couple to get married, or for Minaj to leave him. With all the talk surrounding them, it would be understandable if the couple has a hard time drowning out all of the noise and focusing on the voices of the people who have their best interests at heart. But according to Minaj, there’s definitely at least one other couple that they speak to for relationship advice.
In a new interview with Billboard, Minaj spoke about her relationship with Mill and explained that they confide in celebrity couple Beyoncé and Jay Z when it comes to their unique issues.
“Yeah, we speak about it. We actually spoke with Jay Z and Beyoncé about it, too. After our show at [Brooklyn’s] Barclays Center [in October], we had dinner together. They were so giving with advice. I love them so much. It was just a beautiful conversation to have with people we love and we look up to as a couple. They’re so strong,” Minaj said.
Minaj declined to share any details about the advice Bey and Jay gave them, but she did explain how fun their conversations are.
“I’d rather keep it private. I know Meek — he understood a couple things that I was explaining to him more when we spoke about it in front of them. We were all laughing so much. It was very late — you know when you get so tired, and it’s just like the giggles portion of the evening?” Minaj said.
