Congrats are in order for BET founder Bob Johnson and his girlfriend of five years, Lauren Wooden. According to The Washington Post, Johnson popped the question in the City of Light, Paris, just last month.

“I’ve found the absolute, unequivocally right person for me,” Johnson says. “Happiness only begins to describe how I feel,” Johnson told The Washington Post. “I’m over-the-moon, madly, deeply, proudly in love with Bob,” added Wooden, a 36-year-old student currently pursuing her doctorate in international business-management in Paris.

According to reports, Johnson proposed with a massive 7.5 carat sparkler, comfortably lying on a giant ice sculpture resembling the Eiffel Tower, a flood of rose petals and a bottle of Dom Perignon, followed by a romantic after-hours tour and dinner at the Musee Rodin. Now that’s how you do it, fellas.

Johnson and Wooden first met five years ago in Los Angeles, where his wife-to-be was a concierge at Four Seasons. According to Johnson, it was love at first sight. Their union will be the second marriage for both Johnson and Wooden. As for details surrounding their big day, the couple have remained tight-lipped. As far as we know, they are hoping for a summer wedding, but a date has yet to be set.

Congrats to the lovebirds. Show them some love in the comment section below.
