Black girl magic is real on television and it’s no longer just Shonda Rhimes or Oprah Winfrey shining bright. Although many are still up in arms over the lack of diversity highlighted in this year’s Oscar nominations, we shouldn’t let that detract from the men and women who continue to kill it; from the big screen to the small screen, in literature, technology — you see where I’m going.

Needless to say, watching stars like Taraji P. Henson, Viola Davis, Jussie Smollett win big, amid the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, was a pleasant reminder of Black Hollywood’s multifaceted talent.

So, without further ado, hit the flip for 10 women (some of whom nabbed NAACP Image Awards last night) who are currently killing it, from Fox  to ABC to “Saturday Night Live.” Did your favorite make the cut? Sound off in the comment section below.
