Iman shares a heartfelt message about healing. On Wednesday, Feb. 10, the supermodel posted a touching quote via Instagram, writing, “Each tear is a poet, a healer, a teacher.” Since her music icon husband’s passing just a month ago, the 60-year-old has quietly paid tribute to the love of her life by way of quotes, tweets, and beautiful throwback images via social media.

“The struggle is real, but so is God,” she posted shortly after the “Blackstar” singer’s death on January 10. Bowie had been privately battling liver cancer for a year and a half before his death at age 69.

Sadly, it appears that Iman is dealing with yet another close loss. Earlier this week, Bowie’s hairstylist of many years, Teddy Antolin, passed away. The Somali beauty shared the news of his passing by reposting the announcement originally made on Bowie’s official Facebook page. “It is with sadness that we report the news that Teddy Antolin has passed away,” the statement read on Tuesday. “Teddy was a former hairdresser for David on several tours, video shoots and photo sessions. He will be missed.”

In fact, it was Antolin who connected the love birds in 1990. “They really knew each other because they had come up and traveled in the same circles. They were great together,” Antolin once said. “She was a real force and he needed a woman by his side to keep him focused.” The couple went on to wed in 1992, and shared a daughter, Alexandria, 15.

Iman first addressed the loss of Bowie just a few days ago, by sharing a similar inspirational quote directed at fans. It read, “Love & Gratitude.” Meanwhile, an insider tells “E! News” the Somali beauty is “very touched by all the support from friends, family and fans.” Needless to say, the actress and entrepreneur’s spirit of resilience during a time of such loss, is an inspiration. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the Bowie family.
