On the hit ABC drama “How To Get Away With Murder,” Viola Davis’ character, Annalise Keating, struggles to do right by her relationships, often opting to betray her lovers or, as the title suggests, get away with their murder if it serves her purpose on the show. Although Davis plays such a vicious character when it comes to love, Davis herself is no drama queen when it comes to her own love life. In fact, she’s been in a loving marriage to her husband, Julius Tennon, for more than a decade. And according to recent reports, she and Tennon recently decided to renew their vows.

According to sources, Davis and Tennon have been married for 12 years and decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day by renewing their wedding vows to each other.

The couple first hinted at the vow renewal ceremony on Valentine’s Day when Davis posted a photo of their 4-year-old daughter, Genesis, akimbo on the floor in a pink tutu and black and white striped top as she smiled excitedly into the camera.

“Mommy and Daddy are getting married again today!!!!!!!YAY!!!!” the caption read.

Some of Davis’ “HTGAWM” cast mates, like Karla Souza and Jack Falahee, also shared photos of themselves getting all dressed up in white as they prepared to attend the ceremony.

“Raising our glasses for @violadavis in a moment #marriage,” Souza captioned the photo.

Sources say that Davis wore a custom Carmen Marc Valvo dress to the ceremony and that the couple also held an after-party after exchanging vows, once again.

Davis finally confirmed the big news yesterday when she posted a photo of herself and her husband at the ceremony.

“‘We are most alive when we’re in love.’ -John Updike,” Davis captioned the photo.

We congratulate the couple on renewing their vows and we wish them an even longer, happier marriage.
