Although she’s done well for herself on reality TV, Khloe Kardashian can’t seem to kick off her solo career without the aid of her counterparts. Less than three months after its debut, Kardashian’s talk show has been canceled.
According to a statement from FYI and Pilgrim Media Group, the series, titled “Kocktails With Khloe” will “end its run on Wednesday, April 20,” the statement read. “FYI and Pilgrim Media Group appreciate everyone’s great work on the series and are pleased that the show brought new viewers and significant numbers to FYI’s linear and digital platforms.
“We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Khloé and thank her for her hard work and unique voice that she brought to the series,” the remarks concluded.
As previously reported, Kardashian landed the talk show in late 2015. “Excited to announce my new talk show ‘Kocktails with Khloé’ on the @FYI network!! Can’t wait to show you all what we have in store for you on the show. More to come soon!” the E! star wrote via Instagram at the time. According to the studio, the series was to feature a long list of “celebrity guests and friends” as they joined Khloé “in the kitchen and around the table for an intimate dinner party filled with cooking, pop culture, conversation and outrageously fun party games.”
Unfortunately for the 31-year-old, celebrity guests that included Tori Spelling, Tyga, T-Pain, Ne-Yo, Sonja Morgan and King Bach among others, weren’t enough to keep people locked in. After just 14 episodes, it’s all come to an end. Of course, that doesn’t mean Kardashian won’t go out with a bang. Her finale guests will include celebrity couple Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, as well as her sister, Kim Kardashian, and brother-in-law Kanye West.
Right before the show aired, Kardashian sipped a cocktail with E!’s Catt Sadler while revealing she was a bit anxious about starting the new project. “I’m so scared, but it’s OK,” she admitted. “Doing something I’ve never done before of course is like nerve-racking.”
Meanwhile, Kardashian continues to do well for herself on the series that launched her family to stardom, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
