Beyoncé teases “Lemonade,” a world premiere for HBO and the BeyHive loses their minds!
Early Saturday afternoon, April 16, the 34-year-old superstar posted a teaser video highlighting a “world premiere event,” titled “Lemonade,” set to air on HBO on April 23 at 9 p.m. ET. Although there are no further details surrounding the project, from the looks of things, a braided Bey is ready to heat things up. “What am I gonna do love, what am I gonna do?” she says, donned in a sexy a fur coat.

Meanwhile, many fans are speculating that “Lemonade” is an album film – or at least an insane visual, related to her highly anticipated upcoming album. Nevertheless, it appears that Bey has been dropping hints about the visual since last fall. Take for instance the above image she posted via Instagram in September, where she can be seen smiling ear to ear, while sniffing a lemon. Or a second image, featuring a lemon shaped centerpiece.

That same week, the “Drunk In Love” singer shared a snap highlighting a delicious cup of lemonade. Of course, she could have just been thirsty. In February, the 34-year-old debuted a surprise single, “Formation,” visual and all. She went on to perform the controversial track during the Super Bowl 50 Half Time Show, before announcing an upcoming world tour. In other words, if history is any indication of what’s to come, Bey will not disappoint.
This is the third time the Destiny’s Child alum has partnered with HBO. In 2014, the television network exclusively aired her special “On the Run Tour: Beyoncé and Jay Z,” which showed the singer on tour with her husband, as well as the 2013 documentary “Beyoncé: Life Is But a Dream.” What are your thoughts on Bey’s latest, “Lemonade?” Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
