Beyoncé used wardrobe changes as a way to depict the mood of each set of songs. She wore all-black while performing “Formation,” and “Sorry,”; she returned to the stage in all-red and illuminated by red stage lights as she sung the scathing, “Don’t Hurt Yourself” and the fierce “Ring the Alarm.” And she wore all-white during more delicate songs such as “Halo.”
