Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson publicly slams his male Fast 8 co-stars.

On Monday, Aug. 8, Johnson took to Facebook with an emotional post, praising everyone from the movie’s crew, Universal Studios Entertainment and his “amazing” female co-stars. But it was his slight diss, noting that his “male coworkers however are a different story,” writing, “Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s–t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses,” that raised more than a few eyebrows.

Although the former professional wrestler didn’t drop names, it’s safe to say Vin Diesel, Scott Eastwood, Tyrese, Jason Statham and/or Ludacris have him riled up. Meanwhile, Johnson’s film frenemies have yet to respond.

With that said, a source tells E! News that shooting the last installment of the franchise film series “wasn’t easy for anyone,” but it was “especially” hard on Johnson. Things on set just “didn’t feel exactly the same” this time around, the insider added. While Johnson “is the best guy on the planet to work with,” he’s “also a very emotional guy” and “likes things to go as he sees fit [while] also being fair.”

According to Johnson’s Facebook post, the tension was so high, it was visible in the film. In fact, there were several scenes “where it seems like I’m not acting….and my blood is legit boiling,” he wrote. He really did “get heated with some other guys on set,” a source tells E! News. “Some of the guys did some small things that pissed him off, so he snapped. He called them out and then they were [too] silent to man up and say what they wanted to say.”

In order to cope, when Johnson’s co-stars didn’t “man up,” the actor “just vented like he always has, but all is cool now.” Of course, now that the dust has settled, the 44-year-old A-lister “is excited for this movie to come out,” the insider continued, “but [he’s] also ready to take a break and have it be over.”

According to a source, the feeling is mutual as all the fellas “need some space” right now. What are your thoughts on all the Fast 8 drama? Sound off in the comment section below.
