Ava DuVernay and Disney’s $100 million project, A Wrinkle In Time, is rounding out quite nicely.

In a potentially career changing move, rising actress Storm Reid, 13, has been cast in the lead role of the highly anticipated adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s classic children’s book, of the same name, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

But that’s not it. On Wednesday, Sept. 13, DuVernay, who is helming the film, announced a trio of A-list actresses who will be starring alongside the teen star.

“Thrilled to confirm that Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon + Mindy Kaling have joined WRINKLE along with Storm Reid!,” wrote DuVernay. According to reports, Reid will take on the role of Meg, the young protagonist who goes on a supernatural adventure to find her missing scientist father. Meanwhile, Winfrey, Witherspoon, and Kaling will be playing Mrs. Which, Mrs. Whatsit and Mrs. Who, respectively.

Naturally, all the lovely ladies took to Twitter to celebrate the big casting news:

If you’re playing catch up, Reid made her big screen debut in the Oscar-winning Twelve Years a Slave, in which she appeared with Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender and Chiwetel Ejiofor. While shes only booked a handful of TV gigs, as well as a lead role in American Girl: Lea to the Rescue and the sci-fi drama Sleight, this is definitely a good look for the rising star.
