The Game has been all over the news for the past few weeks and that’s because he’s had a lot to say about everything from past sexual flings with some of the Kardashian women to his growing beef with Meek Mill and Sean Kingston. Unfortunately for Meek’s famous girlfriend, Nicki MInaj, that meant being pulled into the rappers’ beef and having Game include Minaj in some disrespectful lines to Meek. Despite his beef, Game actually took a moment this weekend to apologize to Minaj for name-dropping her in one of his disses.

As previously reported, Game’s beef with Meek began last week over an incident in June when Kingston and Meek were in a club in L.A. and Kingston was robbed of his jewelry. Game claims that Meek and Kingston told the police that his people were responsible for the theft and Game went on a social media tirade as he blasted Meek for being a “snitch.”

Game recently began taking shots at Meek in his music and in his new song, “92 Bars,” Game dropped Minaj’s name on wax. In the track, Game raps “Nicki won’t get no sleep, I’m coming through at 4 a.m,” as well as “And I’ve been wanting to give Nicki this pool stick.”

Understandably, those lines have caused some major controversy. However, during a radio interview this weekend, Game admitted that he was wrong for bringing up Minaj in his beef and he offered up an apology of sorts.

“Nicki should just stay out of it,” The Game said. “She’s in her lane. She’s doing her thing, she’s an amazing artist. I’ve got love and respect for her. I’m sorry I had to drag her into this, and it was a minimal drag, but she wasn’t disrespected at all. I went and I did what I had to do. It looked like a photo shoot or a video shoot, it don’t [sic] look like us in a hotel room.”
