The heated presidential campaign of 2016 has brought America to a simmering point and many are wishing it would go to a full boil. We are faced with a daunting decision as to whether or not to vote Clinton or Trump. A vote for Clinton to many is a vote for a corrupt political system with promises of the same for at least four years. A vote for Trump, however, may, in fact, be a vote for radical change for not only America but also the world. Here are a few examples:
A Trump presidency would mean a direct boost to mental health care:
Thousands, if not millions of Americans, will have to seek mental health counseling if Trump is elected president. Whether a person has insurance or not they will come out of pocket to deal with the anxiety, stress and real paranoia that will ensue. Trump has incited political violence, religious intolerance, bigotry and misogynistic behavior throughout his campaign and business dealings. When this behavior is given the power of executive order, it will be a nightmare. In addition, the pharmaceutical industry will receive even bigger profits as drugs are marketed to not only America but also the global community.
A Trump presidency will allow Black revolutionary nationalists to express their thought and arm themselves with at least a metric ton of ammo:
Because of the laxity of U.S. gun laws and enforcement, militia groups and White supremacists have been able to stockpile ammunition legally. A great example of this is the case of a Kansas White supremacist group called the “Crusaders.” The FBI arrested three men recently for plans to explode car bombs in a refugee Black Somali community in Garden City, Kansas. The investigation revealed that one of the men had one metric ton (2,205 pounds) of stockpiled ammunition, which is legal; as well as multiple firearms. Militia groups of varying thoughts and degrees exist throughout America, some are peaceful in nature while others express hatred. But all have two things in common; the constitutionally protected right of free speech and the right to bear arms. Trump is an avid supporter of the NRA and the organization’s agenda. This will mean that the U.S. will not have a national database of gun owners and a continued loosening of existing gun laws. This would be a good time for some to express their constitutional rights.
A Trump presidency will affirm aggressive celebrity lesbian behavior:
Donald Trump stated that when you are a celebrity and when it comes to women, you can just “Grab them by the p—y”. If Trump is elected president, he will be a role model for women who want to break the barrier of unacceptable behavior that is displayed and awarded to men.
A Trump presidency would finally prove that the Earth is getting colder not warmer:
Because of Trump’s erratic behavior, it is a very good chance that America could face a nuclear war. An exchange of nuclear weapons with Russia, China, North Korea or Iran would theoretically reverse “supposed” myths of global warming. The weapons have the potential to throw up enough debris to block out the sun, thereby cooling the biggest regions of industrial activity. In addition, the impact of pollution due to driving or heavy industry would dramatically decrease.
The possible effects of a Trump presidency will allow not only America but also the global community a chance to have radical change.
