In case you missed it, on Thursday, March 30, the Compton rapper, 29, prompted a celebration of natural beauty with his body-positive message, embracing stretch marks and women sans make-up. The “The Blacker The Berry” artist slams airbrushing, further emphasizing his opinion while admiring a make-up free woman with her stretch marks on full display. “I’m so f–king sick and tired of the Photoshop / Show me something natural like afro on Richard Pryor / Show me something natural like a– with some stretch marks,” he raps.
Now, days following the epic release, fans — mainly celebrities — continue to give Lamar his props, taking their praise to social media. “As if I needed another reason to LOVE Kendrick Lamar!” Rowland tweeted alongside an image featuring her swimsuit-clad backside (stretch marks and all). Love it!
