The brewing beef between former frenemies Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman was the highlight of the return of “Basketball Wives” Season 6. The two, after four years of distance, finally faced each other to attempt to hash out their issues from the past. It seems their intentions were lost in translation as it turns out they both were mad for different reasons; Evelyn because she doesn’t want to be labeled as a homewrecker and Tami because she felt Evelyn wasn’t upfront with her about sleeping with her ex-husband during the time of their budding friendship. Their issue wasn’t solved, as Evelyn walked away from the drama, as her life coach Iyanla Vanzant taught her on “Fix My Life.”

Jackie Christie waited in line to get a piece of Evelyn, as well, as she felt she crossed the line by digging into her family business. When Jackie’s estranged daughter Takari posted a Gofundme account to raise money for her son after a horrific burn accident, it was Lozada, not Jackie, who came to the rescue, donating $3500. The two hashed it out after Lozada explained that the donation was from the heart and not meant to be offensive.

The first episode, overall, wasn’t super drama filled, possibly a “non mother-f–king factor,” if you will, but the preview of the season looks juicy, check it out, after the break.
