The New York Knicks sent forward Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder for center Enes Kanter, forward Doug McDemott, and a 2018 second round draft pick from the Chicago Bulls.
Last season, Anthony was the 22nd leading scorer in the NBA, averaging 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists a game for the Knicks. This marks the second blockbuster move the Thunder have made this offseason after trading for all-star guard/forward Paul George on July 1.
Once again, after Kevin Durant made the decision to join the Golden State Warriors last summer, teams around the league are trying to build the best teams that can take down the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.
