Black News Channel (BNC), the nation’s first and only 24/7 news network dedicated to covering the unique perspectives of Black and Brown communities, has announced its new primetime lineup that will be introduced throughout the month of April. Marc Lamont Hill, Yodit Tewolde and Charles M. Blow will lead the network’s new nighttime crew.

“Black News Tonight with Marc Lamont Hill” premieres on April 5, and will air Mon-Fri 8-9:00 PM ET. The award-winning journalist and culture critic presents a thoughtful and probing look into the stories, issues and challenges impacting the Black experience.


“Excited to make history as part of a primetime lineup that includes @charlesmblow, @yodittewolde, and MORE!!! And of course, we’re just keeping up with the magic that @sharonreedlive and @itsmikehill have already created in the morning. Cable news will not be the same,” announced Hill on Instagram.

“Excited to announce my new show!!! Starting next Monday, April 5, I will be hosting Black News Tonight weekdays at 8PM on the Black News Channel. From culture to politics, interviews to debates, domestic to international, Black News Tonight will be covering the biggest stories happening in the Black world. For more info, go to BNC.TV,” Hill further captioned.


Nationally renowned defense attorney and former prosecutor Yodit Tewolde will follow Hill with her own show, breaking down the criminal justice system with provocative clarifications and in-depth analysis of the cases that are grabbing headlines across the nation. “Making the Case with Yodit” will debut on April 12 and has a time slot of Mon-Fri at 9-10:00 PM ET.
