B.G. turned a lot of heads when he dissed his former rap group member Lil Wayne in his song with Finesse2tymes titled “Gangstafied.”

“My n—- Boosie went home and my dawg was steady blowing, my n—- Weezy steady touring, but he’s a b—- and it’s showing,” B.G. said in the song.

Fans thought that things were bad after the track dropped. However, according to B.G., the fans misunderstood. In a social media video, B.G. said he spoke to Lil Wayne after dissing him in the song.

“[You] don’t really understand what the f— be going on, man,” B.G. said. “I’ll tell a n—- I love him and call him a b—- all in the same sentence. Look, this family business. Shout out to my little brother Weezy, too. I talked to my little brother last night. Shout out to Shawty. Still my lil bro, man, love my lil’ bro, man. S— be complicated sometimes. Gizzle gone do what Gizzle does, man.”

After B.G. was released was prison after 11 years in September 2023, Birdman teased a possible Cash Money reunion tour — but also mentioned not to expect everyone to be a part of it.

“We definitely going on tour. I’m putting up $100 mil for it myself,” Birdman said. “But one thing for certain, two things for sure, I ain’t guaranteeing that it’s gonna be everybody. I’m standing on business, and that’s what it is. If it works out, it works out. If it don’t, it don’t.”

With this latest situation cleared up, there might be a chance that Lil Wayne and B.G. can be in the same place at the same time — and give their fans a nostalgic performance.
