Taraji P. Henson put the entertainment industry on blast when she said she was considering retiring from acting because of pay inequalities.
“I’m just tired of working so hard, being gracious at what I do, [and] getting paid a fraction of the cost,” Henson said during an interview in December 2023 on Sirius XM radio.
Since then, many actors have come forward in support of Henson and her comments. Most recently, TMZ asked Vivica A. Fox if she felt this was a good time to have the conversation about pay inequality.
“Darling, to each its own,” Fox said. “I’m very happy, very blessed and to each its own. I didn’t have that experience, but to get your peace out is important. I totally understand that, and I love my girls for looking out for each other, but I’m good.”
